Before Your Kickoff Call
Welcome! We're looking forward to getting started with you. Before our first call, here are a few things to think about. Nothing here is required — this is just to help you get the most out of our conversation.
Know Your Goals
Think about what success looks like for your business:
- What are the top 2-3 problems you want to solve? (e.g., "I spend too much time following up with leads manually")
- What would a great outcome look like in 3-6 months?
- Are there specific metrics you care about? (e.g., more appointments, faster response time, more reviews)
Know Your Current Setup
It helps us to understand what you're working with today:
- Who hosts your website? (e.g., GoDaddy, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress — or "I'm not sure")
- Do you use any tools for managing leads or customers today? (e.g., spreadsheet, another CRM, pen and paper)
- How do leads or customers currently reach you? (e.g., phone calls, website form, walk-ins, referrals)
- How do you currently handle appointment booking?
Think About Your Team
- Who will be the main point of contact for this project?
- Will anyone else on your team need access to the platform?
- Who makes final decisions on things like website content and branding?
Gather If You Have Them
Don't worry if you don't have all of these — we can help you figure them out:
- Your website login or the name of your hosting provider
- Your business logo (PNG with transparent background is ideal)
- A list of your main services or offerings
- 2-3 competitor websites you'd like us to reference
- Your Google Business Profile login (if you have one)
Questions to Ask Us
Write down any questions you want to ask during the call. Nothing is too basic — here are some common ones:
- How long will it take to get everything set up?
- What will I need to do vs. what will you handle?
- How do I reach you if I have questions after we start?
- What does the platform look like day-to-day?
What Happens on the Call
Our kickoff call is about 30-45 minutes. Here's what we'll cover:
- Quick introductions — who's on your team and ours
- What we're building for you — recap the services and what to expect
- Timeline — when things happen and key milestones
- What we need from you — the items we'll need to get started
- Next steps — communication preferences and scheduling
No technical knowledge required. This is a conversation, not a test. Come as you are.
