Prerequisites

  • Client has Professional ($397/mo) or Enterprise ($997/mo) plan
  • Symphony Core has SearchAtlas agency subscription
  • Client website URL and access credentials
  • Google Search Console property ownership (or ability to verify)

  • OTTO Pixel: Real-time site monitoring (for non-WordPress sites)
  • SearchAtlas WordPress Plugin: One-click integration (for WordPress sites)
  • White-Label Reporting: Branded client reports from SearchAtlas

What We DON'T Use

This SOP uses SearchAtlas exclusively. We do NOT use:

  • ❌ Schema.org validators (OTTO handles schema automatically)

What's Included: 6 Core Components

1. SearchAtlas Project Setup (10 minutes)

Purpose: Add client site to SearchAtlas, run initial audit, connect tracking

Steps:

  1. Log into SearchAtlas dashboard (https://dashboard.searchatlas.com)
  2. Create new project folder for client (if using folder organization)
  3. Add client website URL to SearchAtlas
  4. Connect Google Search Console to SearchAtlas
  5. Run initial comprehensive site audit (OTTO will analyze automatically)
  6. Review audit results and flag critical issues

Deliverables:

  • Client site added to SearchAtlas
  • Initial audit report generated
  • Google Search Console connected
  • Baseline SEO score documented

Expected Outcomes:

  • SearchAtlas provides comprehensive technical audit (replaces manual auditing)
  • Current SEO health scored (0-100 scale)
  • All technical issues identified and prioritized by OTTO

2. OTTO Installation & Configuration (15 minutes)

Purpose: Install OTTO automation to enable continuous SEO monitoring and fixes

For WordPress Sites:

  1. Install SearchAtlas WordPress plugin from client's WP admin

    • Navigate to Plugins > Add New
    • Search "SearchAtlas"
    • Install and activate
  2. Authenticate plugin with SearchAtlas account

    • Click "Connect to SearchAtlas"
    • Enter Symphony Core SearchAtlas credentials
    • Authorize connection
  3. Activate OTTO automation

    • Enable OTTO in plugin settings
    • Configure automation level (see below)
  4. Verify connection

    • Check WordPress dashboard shows "Connected to SearchAtlas"
    • Confirm OTTO Pixel is active
    • Verify in SearchAtlas dashboard that site shows "Plugin Connected"

For Non-WordPress Sites (GHL, Wix, Squarespace, Custom):

  1. Copy OTTO Pixel code from SearchAtlas dashboard

    • Navigate to Site Settings > OTTO Pixel
    • Copy JavaScript tracking code
  2. Install OTTO Pixel in site header

    • Access client site's header/code injection area
    • Paste OTTO Pixel code before closing </head> tag
    • Save changes
  3. Verify pixel installation

    • Visit client site and inspect page source
    • Confirm OTTO Pixel code present
    • Check SearchAtlas dashboard shows "Pixel Active"

OTTO Automation Level Configuration:

Purpose: Review OTTO's audit findings and enable automated technical optimizations

Steps:

    • Navigate to SearchAtlas dashboard > Site Audit
    • Review critical issues (red flags)
    • Review moderate issues (yellow flags)
    • Note low-priority issues (informational)
  2. Enable Auto-Implement for Technical Fixes

5. XML Sitemap & Google Search Console Integration (15 minutes)

Purpose: Ensure Google can discover and index all pages via SearchAtlas automation

Steps:

  1. OTTO Auto-Generates XML Sitemap

    • OTTO creates sitemap automatically upon site connection
    • Sitemap includes all indexable pages
    • OTTO updates sitemap automatically when new pages added
    • Sitemap location: yoursite.com/sitemap.xml (or WordPress default)
  2. Connect Google Search Console to SearchAtlas

    • In SearchAtlas dashboard: Integrations > Google Search Console
    • Authenticate with Google account
    • Select correct GSC property for client site
    • Grant SearchAtlas permission to read/write GSC data
  3. OTTO Submits Sitemap to Google Search Console

    • SearchAtlas automatically submits XML sitemap to GSC
    • Verify submission in SearchAtlas dashboard
    • Check GSC shows sitemap as "Success"
  4. Configure SearchAtlas to Monitor GSC Data

    • SearchAtlas imports GSC performance data (impressions, clicks, rankings)
